Dreaming of Winter…NOT!

Line of Palm Trees Nashua 2015_edited-1
Good to be back…I think. After spending some time traveling in warmer climates I returned to a good old Canadian winter. Six foot snow banks on the driveway and we’re only half way through the winter. Here’s a string of Palm trees near Nashua. I may have come back too soon!

  1. Six foot snow banks! You live in the wrong part of the country my friend. Here in Calgary, I think a palm tree just sprouted up in the from garden. Crazy weather here! πŸ™‚

A palm tree in Calgary…now that I would love to see! πŸ™‚ ya, the west definitely gets its share of cold and snow. Maybe we’ll have an early spring.

All the best my friend and stay warm.

We are a bit light on snow here, which is fine after last year. Instead we are getting extreme cold weather warnings. We Canadians wear our frost bite with pride because have frozen hide. πŸ˜€

lol….you got that right. Cold is the cake, snow is the frosting……it doesn’t seem right to have one without the other, but I’m ok with just cold.
Stay warm & take care ~ Dave

  4. I think we’re finished with winter for this year – we’ve had 5 days in the 50’s seems like a heat wave-everyone’s out and enjoying it.

Kathie, I’m very happy for you but I’m not sure we’re out of the woods just yet up here. Going down to minus 18 tomorrow night and another cold snap. Maybe another 3 or 4 weeeeeeeeks and I can relax, lol!
Take care & enjoy the sun. ~ Dave
