Honey & Sugar…the best of friends

Honey & Sugar 2

Honey & Sugar are my daughters dogs who have entered retirement age 🙂 Poor Sugar (right) has only two teeth left and I didn’t have the heart to tell him he looks like the “Cookie Monster”…although I’m sure he wouldn’t mind too much, as long as I gave him a cookie!

  1. Thank you for liking “Shelf Clouds,” “Shadow Show,” and “Glory of the Grass.” Wonderful photo! 🙂 I agree with you. These two are very cute! 🙂 I have had several dogs over the years, and it is kind of tough to see them losing teeth and develop other health problems as they get older. However, the bond of love I have with them does not change with age.

    • You’re welcome.
Its always sad to see them getting older…but they never lose their character which makes them so special. They truly are mans/womans best friend…and cats are pretty close too, but I’m sure some will disagree, lol!

      • Yes, I agree. Even though they may not be able to do all of the things they did when they were younger, their personalities remain the same for the most part.

I like both dogs and cats. I think both could be a person’s best friend, but some people might disagree because cats are more independent than dogs. Unlike the dog I have now who wants to constantly be by my side, my cats like to spend time on their own, especially when the weather is nice outside. However, my cats come out to the front yard to greet me when I get home from work, and I have one cat who enjoys spending time on my lap. She is a very loving cat, and she loves getting attention from me. 🙂

I hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
